Intel® Fortran Compiler 16.0 User and Reference Guide
The following topic applies to
Fortran
for Xcode*.
The Intel® Fortran Compiler now comes bundled with the Intel® Math Kernel Library. You can access this library in Xcode*, using the Use Intel® Math Kernel Library property, located in the Build Settings > Performance Library Build Components.
The Use Intel® Math Kernel Library property provides the following options in a drop-down menu:
None: Disable use of Intel® Math Kernel Library
Use threaded Intel® Math Kernel Library: Link using the threaded version of the library.
Use non-threaded Intel® Math Kernel Library: Link using the non-threaded version of the library.
For more information, see the Intel® Math Kernel Library documentation.
Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors. Please refer to the applicable product User and Reference Guides for more information regarding the specific instruction sets covered by this notice. Notice revision #20110804 |
