VTune Amplifier XE displays unreadable text in the graphical user interface on an OS X* host system.
Running the X11* version of XQuartz* on an OS X system caused the text in the VTune Amplifier XE graphical interface to appear garbled and unreadable. The problem is related to the XQuartz X11 server performing font anti-aliasing, even in 256 color mode.
Reset the XQuartz preference to "millions" of colors and restart XQuartz.
