The Trip Counts tool
runs and watches your running
serial program's target executable. After it analyzes (profiles) your target's
execution, it updates the
Survey Report window with information about loop
trip counts.
Once data collection completes, loop data appears in the Survey Report window. The Trip Counts column of the Survey Report now contains information on loop trip counts. Expand the column using the expand button to see info on the minimal, maximal, and average trip counts, as well as the number of loop calls and the loop duration statistics.
