Create New Analysis Type

Select the data collection type and configure a new custom analysis type in the Custom Analysis dialog box. The following data collection types are available:

• hardware event-based sampling

• user-mode sampling and tracing

Create New Analysis Type Based on Selected

Create a copy of the selected predefined configuration (for example, Locks and Waits analysis) and edit it as required. Alternatively, you can right-click a custom analysis type and select the Copy from Current option from the context menu.

Edit Analysis Type

Edit the selected custom analysis type. Alternatively, you can right-click a custom analysis type and select the Edit option from the context menu.

Delete Analysis Type

Delete the custom analysis type. Alternatively, you can right-click a custom analysis type and select the Delete option from the context menu.
