Dialog Box: Choose External Editor

To access this dialog box:

When editing a source file, double-click a source line.

Use this dialog box to specify which external editor to use with Intel Advisor. This dialog box applies to Linux* OS systems only. Alternatively, you can set the project properties for multiple languages using the Dialog Box: Options - Editor dialog box.

Use This	To Do This
A list of available editors on this system	Select the editor (such as gedit) to be associated with the current language, or choose to allow selection using an environment variable with Text editor set in EDITOR or VISUAL environment variable. Repeat to associate an editor with each language you use. After selecting the editor to be associated with the current language, click OK.
