Context Menus: Intel Advisor Report Windows

To Do This

Right click a source location in the Survey Report window, or right click line in the data grid of the Suitability Report window

  • View Source - Open the tool's Source window at the corresponding location. This is equivalent to double-clicking a source code line.

  • Edit Source - Opens the corresponding source file in a code editor. When using the Intel Advisor GUI, the editor defined by the Options > Editor dialog box appears with the file open at the corresponding location.

  • Copy to Clipboard - Copy the selected source line(s) to the clipboard.

  • What Should I Do Next? - Displays context-sensitive help for the selected site, task, or lock row, or the scalability graph.

Right click a problem or message data row in the Dependencies Report window's Problems and Messages pane

  • View Source - Open the Dependencies Source window for the selected problem. This is equivalent to double-clicking a row.

  • Edit Source - Opens the corresponding source file in a code editor. When using the Intel Advisor GUI, the editor defined by the Options > Editor dialog box appears with the file open at the corresponding location.

  • Copy to Clipboard - Copy the selected row's data to the clipboard.

  • What Should I Do Next? - Displays context-sensitive help for the selected problem type.

  • Set State - Changes the state of the currently selected problem in the State column. The states are:

    • Set State > Confirmed if the selected Problem or Message needs to be fixed but has not yet been fixed.

    • Fixed if the selected Problem or Message needs to be fixed but has been fixed.

    • Not a Problem if the selected Problem or Message needs to be fixed does not need to be fixed.

    • Deferred if the selected Problem or Message needs to be fixed at a later time, but has not yet been fixed.

    • Not Fixed if the selected Problem or Message still requires investigation.

Right click a code location or source line in the Dependencies Report window's Code Locations pane

  • Expand All Code Snippets - Opens the code snippets for all code locations. To open an individual code snippet, click the icon.

  • Collapse All Code Snippets - Collapses (closes) code snippets for all code locations. To close an individual code snippet, click the icon.

  • View Source - Open the Dependencies Source window for the selected problem. This is equivalent to double-clicking a line.

  • Edit Source - Opens the corresponding source file in a code editor. When using the Intel Advisor GUI, the editor defined by the Options > Editor dialog box appears with the file open at the corresponding location.

  • Copy to Clipboard - Copy the selected line's data to the clipboard.

  • What Should I Do Next? - Displays context-sensitive help for the selected data or type of Dependencies problem.

Right click a line in the annotation assistant (lower) part of the Survey Report window

  • Copy to Clipboard - Copy the text lines to the clipboard. This is an alternative to using the button.
